How does PayPal work?

In order to choose payment via PayPal you must have a Verified PayPal account. PayPal is typically faster and more secure than receiving a paper check. We send payment to your PayPal account within 3 business days after your items are received at our warehouse. Once we send the payment via PayPal it normally shows up in your PayPal account the same day. Once it is in your PayPal account you can use your PayPal balance at any merchant that accepts PayPal or you can transfer the money to a bank account you have linked to you PayPal account.

Do you need any special PayPal info to be able to send me money?

Yes - we will need:

  • Email Address you use to log into Verified PayPal Account
  • Your Name in your account must match the name in your PayPal account

When you sign up or complete your order you can specify your PayPal Email address. This should be the same email address you use when you log into PayPal! You can update your PayPal email address here.

What to do if you get a message that your PayPal email is unverified 

To protect your account and funds we only send PayPal payments to verified PayPal Accounts. If you are seeing the error message that your account is unverified it could mean that your PayPal account does not have a confirmed bank account associated with it or the name you used at is different than the name in your PayPal account. To fix this you just need to make sure your PayPal Account is verified and the name on your PayPal account exactly matches the name in your account.

Is my PayPal Account Verified?

A PayPal account is verified once you add a Bank account and confirm it. 

To see if you have a confirmed bank account

  1. Log into PayPal
  2. Click on the "WALLET" Link
  3. Under Payment Methods you should see a bank account - and it should say "Confirmed"

You can also see if your PayPal account is verified following these steps:

First go to and log into your paypal account

Then click or copy and paste this link into your browser (it is very important you logged into your PayPal account first before following this link):

When following links always check to make sure the address in the browser bar matches the site you are expecting before entering any information- for example you should see the following for the above link in your browser and make sure the Site Identity Button and domain match the site you are expecting:

You will see 1 of 3 messages:

  • Bank Account: Linked and Confirmed (This means your account is verified)
  • Get verified by adding a payment method (This means you need to add a bank account and confirm it - your account is not verified)
  • You have requested an outdated version of paypal (this is a random error -you can try and reloading a few times or trying in a different window in your browser)

If your PayPal Account is verified but you are still getting a message from us that your account is not verified this usually means your name on your PayPal Account is different then the name on your account

Your PayPal Name must match the name in your account

Once you have confirmed your PayPal account is verified you want to make sure that the name in your PayPal account is the same as the name in your account - to see what name you have in your PayPal account:

  1. Go to
  2. Click on the Gear icon
  3. Your name will be displayed under the "Profile" section

You will want to copy and paste the name from your PayPal account into your account.

Once you have confirmed that your PayPal account is verified and your name in your matches the name in your PayPal account you should be able to update your account. If you are still having issues you can always choose check as your payment method.
